What's New in 1.5?
There was an error in the Quality Control bar, which has been fixed. Also, ripping to DivX used the MPEG4 codec, which is not compatible with most DVD Players. This has been fixed as well and DVDs ripped to DivX will now play in most DVD Players.

What Operating Systems does it run on?
DVDRipperPro 1.5 has been tested to work on Linux and Windows. Mac OS X still uses DVDRipperPro 1.4.

What Is DVDRipperPro?
DVDRipperPro is the Professional version of DVDRipper. They are both programs written in Java to rip any dvd to dvd, divx, vcd, kvcd, or svcd.

How Is DVDRipperPro different than DVDRipper?
DVDRipperPro's code has been tested to perform better for starters. Not only has the performance improved, but so have the features. With DVDRipper, you could only specify what you wanted to rip and the format to encode to. With DVDRipperPro, you can specify those options, but also the quality, bitrate, and more! Two features that users desperately wanted are also included. They are the Progress Bar and the Unlock feature, which allows you to rip even protected DVDs!
