Fanboyism Needs to End.
Fanboyism needs to end. Myself, like many others, are entirely fed up with all the fanboys touting "their system" and bashing the competition. It does no one any good. If there was an opposite to a fanboy, it would be me. I've bought every system to date at it's launch since the Atari 2600, including the Nintendo DS. Have I ever prefered one system over another? Absolutely. But I don't go bashing the competition to makeme feel better. I buy systems for games, not graphics, hype, or specs. Just for the games. I have never once hated a system, I still own and play my VirtualBoy! Anyways, this is mostly about the new Nintendo DS competeing against the Sony PSP. While I see the cons to the DS, I strongly feel that it will have a successful future. Does that mean I hate, or even dislike, the PSP? Absolutely not. I have yet to play it, so I can't say much about it. But like all other systems in the past, I will buy it. Not because I love systems, but I love games. Every system to date has given me excellent gaming pleasure, I feel that the PSP will do the same. Nintendo will finally have real competition in the handheld market. And whether or not either Sony or Nintendo "loses", gamers everywhere are going to "win". Just remember, it's about playing games, not blindly following s specific company!
